An employee who worked as a fitter developed Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) after working with vibrating power tools for many years has won compensation for his injury.

Keith Rowley, 55 years old, first noticed the onset of HAVS six years ago while working for General Kinematics Ltd for which he was an employee for 12 years and dealt with vibrating tools on a regular basis.
