About MeHello, my name is Nicholas. Thank you for visiting my site, I hope you find some helpful information here. This website was my very first accomplishment online. I now have several different websites on other non-legal topics. Initially back in 2009 I was determined to learn this whole online business stuff. It ended up taking me a long time to really get a good grasp on what direction I should take to get started. I read and read and read some more all over the web, I wanted to be completely sure about what I was doing before taking the plunge! I've always had a strong interest in politics and the legal system but never would have guessed my very first website would end up being legally related. But as fate would have it, in 2009 my wife had a streak of bad luck and was a victim of a bureaucratic legal situation gone wrong. We ended up having to deal with lawyers and the federal government which led me to doing a bunch of online research to figure out how to settle our stressful situation. All is fine now as my wife was able to get our government to correct a horrible error that turned her life upside down. California Senator Feinstein and her staff were actually very helpful and we thank them with all our hearts for not ignoring us. While I was researching online, it quickly became clear that the options available were not very attractive ones. Most legal sites use so much legal terminology that it is not beneficial to the average person. Plain and simply just too hard to understand. Other legal sites were pretty much cookie-cutter replicas offering the same type of attorney locator, referral boxes, etc. I was stunned that there were not any legal sites that had more of a personal touch and an easy to read, easy to understand format. Light bulb! I decided since I was planning to start my first website that the topic would be a legal site. I wanted it to have a simple layout with content that was not so dry and boring like the big law sites around the web. As I was looking for the right online courses to take to learn about creating an online business, I somehow stumbled across SBI. I can't remember how or where I came across them, but I'm so grateful that I somehow found this online community. I immediately got to business, devouring as much information as possible in their forum, article sections and video action guides. In less than a month after joining SBI, I started my journey to build my site. I thought a good starting point would be a directory of lawyers first and then build around that with helpful articles. So I decided to call my website "Find-my-personal-injury-lawyer.com"...yikes! I know I know, in hindsight a bad choice. Once I realized how bad the URL was I had already built too much content so I couldn't ditch the URL. So I renamed the site instead! The redirect URL is LawHubUSA.com and as of 2010 the official name/brand of this site is LawHubUSA. I'm planning to add much more content and how-to articles throughout the rest of 2011 to really beef up this website.
